SPRING SUMMER 2022 SHOES

The runway saw classics reinvented such as the ballerina, the chunky heel and the mary-jane.

THE CLASSIC BALLERINA

The return of the ballerina. This style was probably forgotten for a few years, but now, it’s back! And brands like The Row, Tory Burch and Christian Dior have added a twist to this all time favorite classic.

Chanel opted for adding an anklet to their classic shoe style, whereas The Row went for a typical ballet shoe elastic band to go across the foot but jazzing up the classic with a “fur” effect shoe.

THE UPDATED MARY-JANE

Mary-Jane style shoes have been around for a while now, but this season it has gotten an update.

The classic style has been elevated to a new height, with a touch of a block heel in the back, it has transformed it to a stylish addition to your outfit.

Our favorite part about the block heeled Mary-Jane? You can wear it day or night! We obviously love that it can work at night so that you can dance the night away in comfort.

A SUMMER BOOT

Step into Spring in your favorite boot! Luckily enough for boots lovers, they are definitely in trend now. Mega designers like Christian Dior, Bottega Venetta, Chanel and many others have opted for the Spring shoe to match with mini skirts and skirt suits this season.

LACE ME UP!

Let’s be honest, lace-up shoes never go out of style, do they? We love them, and this season we are seeing lots of “flat” (or almost flat) lace-up shoes. The trend has caught up with your daily shoe!

Loafers? Add some laces, sandals? Add some laces. It just works!

Numerous designers have updated the flat shoe for the season by adding laces, such as Tory Burch, Staud and Bibu Mohapatra.

SKY-HIGH PLATFORM

This sky-high trend was seen all over the runways for the Spring Summer 2022 season.

Not only were the heeled sandals transformed into towering platforms, the wedge also got an update to reach new heights!

Designers such as Versace, Moschine and Valentino were first in line on this trend.

COMFORT SANDALS

Now we’re talking, this is a trend we would want to keep!

Comfort is the key word here, the already comfortable flat sandal has gotten even more comfortable (if that’s even possible), with the addition of chunky comfy edges, some feathery inlays, and sometimes, faux-furry softness it takes comfort to a whole new level and can literally be worn with everything.
